Paul Vautrinot was born and raised in Las Vegas. He has been a person in long term recovery since 2014 after having been addicted to Heroin and Methamphetamines for nearly a decade. Paul is currently employed with Freedom House as the Program Director and Crossroads of Southern Nevada as Vice President of Operations. Paul also sits on the board and serves as the Executive Director for Shine A Light Foundation. He is currently a member of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and serves as the Co-Chair for Criminal Justice Coordination Council’s Subcommittee on Homelessness and Mental Health for the 8th District Court. He served on the board of directors as Vice President of There is no Hero in Heroin from 2020-2022. Paul is also a Leadership Las Vegas alumni; Class of 2020.

Jeffrey B. Iverson currently serves as a Managing Partner of Las Vegas-based Bell Solar and Electrical Systems.

Previously, Iverson served 14 years as general Manager for of Presidential Limousine, a division of Whittlesea-Bell Transportation, comprises a staff of more than 230 employees. The company offers a variety of fleet vehicles, premium limousine services and professional chauffeurs.

Iverson gained valuable administrative management experience while working at Lawrence/Kreeft & Associates as Administrator, where he oversaw the daily operations of the insurance firm. While there, he held Securities Series 6/63 licenses and a life insurance license. Prior to this, he served as executive assistant to the Vice Chairman of WMA Securities, assisting in planning company events and processing new agents. Iverson also performed branch compliance audits and collaborated with branch managers to train new financial services representatives.

A native Las Vegan, Iverson graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1992. Currently, he is focusing his attention on helping recovering drug users through his work as Founder of CrossRoads of Southern Nevada. CrossRoads of Southern Nevada was founded in 2017 and provides medical detox, comprehensive care medical services, education and mental health treatment, housing and supportive services to members of the community struggling with alcohol and drug abuse, in an attempt to strengthen communities and lessen the burdens on government within the State of Nevada. In addition to his involvement with the CrossRoads, Iverson founded and serves as CEO for Freedom House Sober Living, a not-for profit agency dedicated to assisting individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction secure stable housing in a structured environment. During its 11 years in operation Iverson has overseen the organizations growth from a sober living facility to programs with 150 beds, a licensed 40 bed residential drug treatment center and a transitional center with educational programs, food programs, peer to peer recovery support programs, MRT Therapy and a full service vocational assistance program.

Iverson himself is a person in long term recovery, having been abstinent from all drugs and alcohol since March 28, 2006.

Iverson is a past board member for HELP of Southern Nevada, HOPE For Prisoners, and currently serves as a director on the Shine A Light Foundation Board.

Iverson is a Leadership Las Vegas program Alumni and is always looking for ways to be more involved in his community.

With an illustrious career in Las Vegas since 1996, Julie Cane is currently serving as Gaudin Motor Company’s Corporate Director of Marketing and Community Relations, Cane is responsible for all events, promotions, community involvement, charitable giving and brand management for all three of Gaudin Motor Company’s dealerships: Gaudin Porsche, Gaudin Ford and Ford Country.

Cane kicked off her career by selling memberships to the first private social club in Las Vegas, the Foundation Room at the House of Blues, in 1999. Her next stop was Stirling Club inside Turnberry Place serving as a Senior Membership Sales Manager. In 2001 N9NE Group at Palms Casino Resort  tapped her to be its Director of PR and Guest Services. Over the course of a decade, Cane developed and managed the Palms’ integral VIP membership program and oversaw all public relations efforts for their iconic Vegas hotspots. In 2011, Cane joined another legendary Vegas property, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, as the Director of Non-Gaming Marketing before pivoting to Director of Development and Licensee Relations. In 2014, she joined the Stations Casino family as the Executive Director of Resort Marketing until joining the Gaudin family in 2015.

Cane’s true passion lies in helping her community. She volunteers with many non-profits, chairs the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation gala, participates in Joy Prom, serves on the Board for Win Win Entertainment and Shine a Light, and is the founder and coordinator of Club Shine – a nightclub night for adults with special needs. Cane was part of Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2020.

Sindy Doyle was born in Guatemala and moved to the US when she was a year old. Sindy is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. She is the proud mother of Emma, Jackson, and Charlie (furry German Shepherd) and wife of 15 years. While not at work, she enjoys fitness activities. Her previous position of Vice President of Operations at CrossRoads of Southern Nevada had her overseeing all activity in the 64-bed Medical Detox Unit as well as 116-bed Transitional Living Facility. Which included working with, directing, coordinating and facilitating the daily functioning of the Director of Nursing, the Inpatient Clinical Director, Program Director, Director of Utilization Review and Case Management. Sindy also interacted with the Chief Clinical Officer in driving the success of their 110+ client Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. She has accepted the role of Director of Operations with Shine A Light and is instrumental in the growth and expansion of our company.

Kevin Tucky is a small-town boy from Ashland, Ohio. In 1989, after earning his Associate’s Degrees in Hotel Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts at Hocking College, his beloved Uncle Ron, who lived in Las Vegas, invited him to come west and help make history by opening The Mirage Resort & Casino, the city’s first megaresort. He started his career at the iconic Kokomo’s Steak & Seafood. Kevin quickly ascended the culinary ranks, back and front of house, and soon was tapped to lead the culinary team as Executive Chef at one of Las Vegas’ most exclusive golf clubs, Shadow Creek. Later he went on to open and lead kitchen operations at Lake Las Vegas Resort and South Shore Yacht and Beach Club before becoming a private chef and later a food service consultant.

Today, as a private estate manager, Kevin oversees operations of four private households in four different states, where he functions as a chief of staff, managing logistics and flight crews, security teams, and foundation representatives on behalf of his esteemed employer.

Kevin is a member of the Shine a Light board. He is a loving husband to his wife Tina, and the proud father of two children, Diego, a sophomore at University of Nevada Reno and Mackenzie, a marketing manager on the Las Vegas Strip. In his leisure time, Kevin enjoys the outdoors, from mountains and deserts to forests and the beach. Kevin recently celebrated 20 years of sobriety thanks to his faith and working his AA program.

With over 32 years of law enforcement experience, Chris founded Fairfax Consulting Group, LLC., a professional services company that provides expert opinions, conducts evidence-based investigations, and consults in public safety matters with clients across the United States. Undersheriff (Ret.) Christopher Darcy was second in command of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). Chris had been at the forefront of leading change for the LVMPD in using force, duty to intervene, search warrant service, pursuits, and in-custody deaths. Chris has led many divisions and bureaus at LVMPD and served as the Assistant Sheriff of the Law Enforcement Investigations and Support Group, Deputy Chief of the Homeland Security Division, and the Investigative Services Division. As the Director of the Southern Nevada Counter-terrorism Center, Chris directed the immediate counter-terrorism investigative response after the 1 October mass shooting. He has extensive expertise in criminal investigations, emergency operations, and police practice. Chris has demonstrated strong leadership in developing and implementing best practices in law enforcement.

Michael C. Van is an attorney licensed in the states of Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Texas and is a managing partner at our law firm’s Las Vegas office. Mr. Van’s law practice is both a transactional and civil litigation practice primarily operating in the fields of real estate, commercialization, corporate litigation, construction law and estate planning.

In general, his construction practice as an attorney involves contract negotiation, payment disputes, lien notices, collections, foreclosure actions, construction and design defect claims, contract claims and many other construction related issues.

Mr. Van graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Whittier College School of Law. Mr. Van is a member of the Nevada, Utah, Texas, Arizona and Washington bar associations and practices in both state and federal courts. He has previously served as a member of the Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore Panel and the Coroner’s Inquest Panel. Angie Dobney serves as Vice President of Revenue Management and Customer
Relationship Management for Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a vertically integrated luxury
hotel, gaming, entertainment, and meeting destination conceived by Fontainebleau
Development. With a proven track record of helping hospitality brands achieve
maximum growth, Ms. Dobney is responsible designing and implementing
Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ hotel revenue management objectives and positioning the
hotel’s pricing and distribution of inventory across various channels in order to maximize
revenues, while creating processes and frameworks that align the customer’s
experience with the company’s revenue goals.
Angie joined Fontainebleau Las Vegas following more than two years as founder and
head of Rise Up Revenue Optimization, a strategic consulting firm for hospitality and
gaming brands. She has also served in leadership roles for several other hospitality
software companies, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas and Station Casinos.
Angie holds a degree in hospitality from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and holds
the coveted Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification from the
Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HASMAI) Academy. Angie is
also a 2018 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas, where she currently is a mentor to new
